I covenanted to pay £ 500 to purchase lands and to advance a further £ 1000 on my decease ;

and by indentures dated 26 / 27 November, 1767, I purchased moiety of lands, 58½ acres in
             Burmarsh, now occupied by my son John, for £ 1000.

I give to John Billington, gent., and John Robins, surgeon, both of Ashford, ( as trustees ) the
      above land to satisfy the indenture, for the use of my son and heirs.

to Ann, wife of Hezekiah Marshall  -  annuity of 40 sh.
