Chelsfield Wills - Part 1  Abstracts of will from Chelsfield proved in the Prerogative Court of Canterbury
George Heath of Chelsfield dated 30 June 1747

Abstract of the will of George Heath of Chelsfield tailor dated 30 June 1747.
   
    Whereas I am indebted to my niece Ann Nevil widow in divers sums of money amounting in the whole to £500 and upwards and for securing the payment of the same I have mortgaged to her divers messuages lands tenements and hereditaments in the parishes of Oxford [thus in registered copy – should read Otford] and Shoreham, Kent, and being desirous she should be justly paid I do therefore give to her the said Ann Nevill and to her heirs and assigns all my messuages etc. whatsoever in the said parishes or elsewhere in Kent, in full satisfaction and discharge of the moneys due to her.

   I appoint the said Ann Nevil as my Executrix.

   George Heath witnesses Tho: Judd Thos. Francis John Petty

Proved 16 February 1753 by Ann Nevil widow the sole Executrix.        [PCC will PROB11/800].
