the Prerogative Court of Canterbury
Thomas Jud(d)
of Chelsfield dated 22 November 1754
Abstract of the will of Thomas Jud otherwise Judd of
Chelsfield yeoman dated 22 November 1754 [sic].
I give to my wife Barbara two pieces of woodland called
Catsbrake in the parish of Eynsford, late in the occupation of Thomas
Whiffin and [ ] Dalton, for life. At her death, I leave the property to
John Jeofferies, son of my brother in law John Jeofferies and his heirs
for ever.
I give to my brothers John and Solomon Jud and my sisters
Dorothy Middleton and Sarah Jeofferies £5 each.
I give all residue to my wife and nominate her as my
Executrix.
Thomas Jud witnesses James Whitehouse David Petty John Petty
Proved 9 June 1786 by Barbara Judd widow the relict. [PCC will
PROB11/1143]
