Abstract of the will of James Wafer of Chelsfield dated 10 June 1573.

   I give to Anne my wife all my land in Farnborough for her life, then to my son James Wafer and his heirs for ever.

   I give all residue of my estate to my wife and make her my Executrix.

   …… witnesses Richard Harman Percivall Smalle Willm: Wakelyn and others.

Proved by Anne Wafer the relict 23 September 1578.                   [PCC will PROB11/60]
