DEED lent by G.H. Last of Bromley 16th September 1936 to Dr Gordon Ward

John Burwasshe, parysh clerke of Eggerton, co, Kent and Thomas Boycot and Richard Knok of Eggerton have confirmed to Richard Barlyng of Eggerton

One half part of a piece of land and one half part of a lane called Steyleton and Steyretonyslane in the parish of Eggerton, bounding to land of Thomas Bacleler, south & east to land of said Richard Barlyng west to land of Philip Stonhouse north which we formerly had by grant of John Stonhouse

Dated at Eggerton 1 July 3 Henry VIII (1511)

Endorsed 'Stelton'
