Disentailing Deed (mutilated) 15 June1715/6 (2 George I)  

Parties – William Hammond of St Albans, Nonnington, Kent, Esquire Anthony Hammond of St Albans aforesaid, gentleman, only sonne and heire of the said William Hammond by Elizabeth his late wife, formerly Elizabeth Kingsford, and William Kingsford of Hackney in the County of Middlesex, Esquire of the first part, Gabriel Neve of London, gentleman of the second part and John Cason, junior of Woodnesborough, Kent, gentleman, of the third part.

Consideration 5s paid to parties of first part by party of second part for the cutting off, barring and docking of all intails, remainders and reversions in the manor, messuage, lands and premises hereinafter mentioned and for the conveying and settling the same unto the uses hereinafter expressed William Hammond and Anthony Hammond and by their direction William Kingsford convey to Gabriel Neve

Parcels – All that Mannor or Lordship of Eastwall alias Easole alias St Albans with the rights, members and appurtenances thereof situate, lying and being in the parishes of Nonnington, Goodneston and Wynningswold, Kent.

And all that messuage or tenement with the appurtenances commonly called Chillindon Courtlodge and all buildings etc. situate in the parishes of Chillendon, Goodnestone, Northborne and Nonnington, late in the occupation of Matthew Browning and now of John Sole containing by estimation 120 acres.

And all that piece of woodground called Pinners Wood containing in all by estimation 10 acres situate in Nonnington parish in the mannor of St Albans and now in the occupation of the said William Hammond 

And also all those 18 acres of marshland situate in Ash, Kent.

To HOLD to the said Gabriel Neve with intent to make him perfect tenant to suffer a recovery by the said John Eason of the same.

Covenant by John Cason to hold after recovery to use of said William Hammond for life and afterwards to use of said Anthony Hammond, his heirs and assigns.
