George II) Bargain and Sale for 1 year
Parties – Thomas Turner
of Lincolns Inn, Esquire (1) and William Hammond of Canterbury, Esquire, only
surviving
son of William Hammond late of St Albans, Nonington, Kent, Esquire deceased, by
Mary his wife, eldest daughter of Thomas Turner the elder, late of Ileden in
parish of Kingston, Kent, Esquire, also deceased (2).
For consideration of 5s.0d. said Thomas Turner did bargain and sell to said
William Hammond of Canterbury.
Parcels – The parsonage and rectory, parsonages and rectoryes of
Nonington and Wymingswold, Kent, with the glebe land thereunto belonging
containing by estimation 2 acres on part of which standeth a long parsonage barn
together with a stable and a foddering place which said glebe lands are bounded
on West and North to the King’s highway and on the East and South to lands of
[blank] Gay, gentleman.
And all tythes, portions, pensions and Profitts whatsoever in Nonington and
Wymingswold or elsewhere in Kent.
Habendum for 1 year with a view to a Release and conveyance of the day
following.
