Covenant to levy fine to bar entail. 30 July 1746, (20 George II)

Parties – William Hammond of Canterbury, Esquire, only surviving child of William Hammond late of St Albans, Nonington, Esquire, deceased by Mary his wife, eldest daughter of Thomas Turner the elder, late of Ileden, Kingston, Esquire, deceased (1), John Denne of Bishopsborne, yeoman and Mary his wife (2), Robert Sutton of Harbledown, yeoman (3), Isaac Sladden of Reculver, yeoman (4).

Covenant by said William Hammond and John Denne and Mary his wife to levy fine to Robert Sutton of Parcels – Rowlingt farm and 23 acres in Goodnestone and Woodnesborough late in occupation of Richard Goodban and now of Thomas Neame. 

Manor of Lorenden alias Cades and 50 acres in Ospringe ormerly in occupation of John Platt and Philip Knott, afterwards of Jonathan Ellis, since of Thomas Belsham and William Tadhunter and now of Robert Turley.

Messuage called Pamphletts in Ospringe formerly in possession of John Harris, since of said Thomas Belsham and William Tadhunter and now of Robert Turley.

Four acres in Ospringe in same occupations. (Four pieces of arable and pasture land on part of which a messuage formerly stood containing 14 acres in Orlestone formerly in occupation of William Wraight, afterwards of John Vincent and now of John Blackman which were devised to Mary Denne by the Will of Anne Spaine, widow deceased).

All except last to use of William Hammond, his heirs and assigns.
