ROWLING FARM 19 February 1749

Abstract of Title to a messuage called Rowling farm and lands containing about 23 acres in Goodnestone and Woodnesborough late the estate of Captain Hammond, deceased. 

1684, 16 and 17 July. Lease and Release.

Parties – Mary Turner of parish of St Paul, Canterbury, widow and relict of William Turner of Canterbury, gentleman, deceased, and John Turner of Felpham, Sussex, clerk, one of her sons (1), and Thomas Turner of St Dunstans in the West, London, gentleman, eldest son of the said Mary (2).

Conveyance to Thomas Turner in fee.

1704, 2 and 3 November. Marriage Settlement by Thomas Turner on the marriage of his eldest daughter Mary with William Hammond (Calendared in File 2).

1746, 24 and 25 July. William Hammond of St Albans to William Hammond of Canterbury, his uncle. Conveyance of reversion on estate in fee tail (Calendared in File 1).

1746, 25 and 26 July. Thomas Turner (1) and William Hammond of Canterbury (2) Release pursuant to Marriage Settlement (Calendared in File 2).

1746, 30 July. Indenture of Covenant by William Hammond of Canterbury to levy a fine to me of said William Hammond of Canterbury, his heirs and assigns for ever.

1749, 19 February. Receipt for above deeds signed by William Hammond of St Albans.
