The Events Team have been created to assist committees, groups, and affiliated societies to host events under the Society banner.
The team is led by Peter Joyce and those looking for assistance should email. The email will go to all team members, but Peter will ensure that requests are handled appropriately.
Please note that the team are there to book venues and refreshments if requested, ensure the event is publicised and arrange ticketing providing adequate notice is given. The team are not responsible for setting up venues on the day, arranging speakers and the itinerary, writing presentation summaries, displays in side rooms or checking entrance tickets. This remains the sole responsibility of the group hosting the event and the events team will expect the host group to provide a named point of contact.
