Donations and legacies

The Society is a registered charity and as such receives no funding from the Government or any other body.

Society funding

The modest membership fee goes towards the production of Archaeologia Cantiana and the production and distribution of the KAS Magazine. Although there is restricted-use funding from formal societies and organisations, the excavations and other projects we carry out remain un-funded.

Your donation or legacy gift will help to fund the work of the society and go towards preserving the past for future generations. Members and volunteers have supported the continuation of the society for over 165 years and we hope that the society will continue its work and education for many years to come. If you would like to help support us we would be extremely grateful.
