Britain after the Great War, 1918-1928

Monday afternoons 1:30 - 3:30; 5th of 6 meetings at cost of £48

The Great War had a greater impact on individuals, families and the nation as a whole than any previous conflict.  This class will look at how, in the decade following the Armistice, the British people sought to come to terms with personal loss, while successive governments tried to resolve the political and economic difficulties resulting from the war.
