They are to be sorted and deposited with the relevant county archaeological society. Photographic: there are approximately I 00,000 negatives of buildings, street scenes, towns and villages in South East England and these have been left to the National Monuments Record. Copies of many of the earlier pictures are already in their files at Swindon. Visual Ephemera: the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Archaeological Societies have been left collections of postcards and other visual ephemera. Anne Roper's Papers: Kenneth Gravett was Miss Roper's Literary Executor and he inherited a large collection of research notes and papers, mostly relating to East Kent and the Romney Marsh area. When this collection has been finally sorted, it will be deposited in the East Kent Archives Centre. Whitfield, under the existing reference U.2911.
