Ann Watson

I was born and raised in Burham, Kent and currently reside in Eccles, Kent.I went to Invicta Girls Grammar School, then left and started my career in Finance, until I took a career change to work in Payroll, from the NHS, Fashion Company, Local Government to name but a few.

I joined KAS as Membership Secretary in September 2022, after joining the Otford Project. A position I thoroughly enjoyed, which involved meeting and working with some really nice people. November, I was asked to move onto the Administration Manager which I didn’t hesitate at. This is a new venture that I am looking forward to, and working with the new Management Team. What I bring to the Team, is: still monitoring the Membership system and ensures that it runs smoothly. I will also be working on Grants and assisting with Fundraising. I will be looking after the office space at Marsham Street and will be booking any meeting rooms that are required. In my spare time I enjoy cooking and reading, also going on long walks in the rural part of Kent with my two Black Labradors. During the season, I enjoy fieldwork, which really got me interested in Archaeology. I look forward to where the Society will take us.
