  • St Mary of Charity Church Church Road, Faversham ME13 8GZ (map)

The Kent Archaeological Society (KAS) will be attending Open Faversham on the 19th, 21st and 23rd August.

The team will bring along a selection of our archaeological and archival collections which we have the privilege of caring for. Come along and find out more about what we hold, what the work of the society involves and how you can get involved!

Have you found something interesting in your garden or on a walk but don't know what it is? Bring it along on Monday 19th and Wednesday 21st when the society's curator will be happy to take a look and identify it for you.

Find out more about our recent excavations on the Lees Court Estate, Faversham where we have been uncovering a Neolithic funerary landscape! Objects from our recent exhibition at the Fleur De Lis Centre which ran until the 29th June will also be brought along and on display.

The event will be head at St Mary of Charity Church, Church Road, Faversham ME13 8GZ from 10am – 4pm. Entry is free.
