Randall Manor revealed: community archaeology excavations in Shorne Woods Country Park

Re-discovering a medieval manor! From 2006-2015, a series of community archaeology excavations revealed the remains of this fantastic site, in Shorne Woods Country Park, near Gravesend. This online talk will focus on the history of the site, the big dig over ten seasons and the work to further research and report on the former home of a Sheriff of Kent.

Andrew Mayfield is a community archaeologist working for both Kent County Council and the Royal Parks at Greenwich.
