Roman Villas of the Darent Valley, from Dartford to Kemsing, a DHAS evening local history talk by Gerald Cramp.

Gerald will be discussing with the aid of illustrations, 10 partially excavated Roman Villas within the Darent Valley, including those at Dartford, Horton Kirby, Darenth/Sutton at Hone, Farningham, Otford and of course the World Famous Lullingstone Roman Villa which is open to the public under the care of English Heritage.

Presented by Dartford Historical & Antiquarian Society (DHAS): Friday 17th May at the Mick Jagger Centre (Small Lecture Theatre), Shepherds Lane, Dartford, DA1 2JZ.

Doors open at 7.10pm for a scheduled 7.35pm start. Duration approximately 1hr 10 minutes. There is free car parking at the MJC.

£3 admission for non-members of DHAS. There will be a book stall, light refreshments served post talk and a raffle (50p). DHAS is a not for profit organisation managed entirely by a friendly group of volunteers. New members are very welcome; please ask for details on arrival.
