The Ozengell Collection: The Story so far

Kent Archaeological Society Curator Andy Ward has been invited by the Isle of Thanet Archaeological Society (IOTAS) to speak on the ongoing work on the Ozengell Anglo-Saxon Collection, purchased by the KAS in 2022 at auction.

This talk has been organised by IOTAS in memory of their longstanding member Roger Bishop. Andy will recap the known history of the collection, how the KAS got involved in its story, and the ongoing work in preserving Ozengell and other collections held by the KAS.

The talk will take place at Room B, Crampton Tower Yard, High Street, Broadstairs, Kent, CT10 2AB. Doors will open at 7.15pm with the talk beginning at 7.45pm before finishing at 9pm. Entry is free for members of IOTAS with a £3.00 entry fee for non-members.
