KAS at Run Kent charity half marathon 2024

KAS Deputy Manager Rebecca Fletcher and Archivist Craig Campbell are taking part in the Run Kent half marathon to raise funds for Society projects.

The Kent Archaeological Society are a registered charity dedicated to introducing and educating communities on the heritage and history of our county.

We have a number of engagement projects in the works, aimed at offering fantastic volunteer opportunities to both our members and the public. These projects will involve hands on immersive archaeological and historical practice for people at all levels of interest and ability.

To provide the best experience, relevant equipment and environments for these projects, we are involved in various funding applications.

As part of our drive, Rebecca and Craig of the KAS Management Team will be taking part in the ‘Run Kent’ charity half marathon on September 29th.

If you would like to offer your support to Rebecca and Craig as they battle the elements and injuries to run 21.1km, we would be very grateful for any sponsorship to our JustGiving charity page.
