Fives Minnis
Fives Minnis is an undergraduate student at the University of Kent, studying ancient, medieval, and modern history. Their passion for archaeology stems from a deep love for history, particularly the Eastern Front during WWII and the ongoing efforts to uncover and preserve artifacts from the Great Patriotic War. As the student representative for Kent Archaeological society to the University of Kent their aim to promote the society among archaeology and history students at the university and encourage participation in digs and other initiatives. While they are still exploring where they would like to specialize within the field of archaeology, Fives is eager to gain experience in every aspect of it, from excavation to research and conservation. Outside of their studies, Fives is a proud member of the Soviet Affairs Living History Group, where they participate in historical re-enactments. They also enjoy film photography, capturing stunning photos with their trusty FED3 camera.
