Richard Chaplin

Richard Chaplin is a Barrister, called to the Bar in 1992. He has a Law Degree and a Masters Degree from Cambridge University and other Certificates and Diplomas. He is a member of the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple. He has practised privately at the Bar and In-House for companies, and his work advising on international contractual and commercial law has taken him all over the world drafting, negotiating and advising on commercial issues to the amount of $billions. He lived and worked for a time in Houston, Texas, where he was appointed as a Goodwill Ambassador and Honorary Citizen.

He has a long-held interest in British social and economic history and the mid-to-late-twentieth century politics and the political history of the USA. He lives with his partner in the North Downs.
