370. Mary Ann PIPER daughter of James and Sarah WRAIGHT died 15 August 1869 aged 25 only surviving George her husband 2 years, died 19 July 1867 aged 53 and was interred in Maidstone Cemetery. Leaves surviving 2 brothers, James Wraight and John. Also James son of above died 22 January 1874 aged 25.
371. Richard MARSHALL son of Thomas and Elizabeth Marshall died 16 February 1791 aged 18. Also Ann Marshall their daughter died 16 June 1791 aged 21.
372. Thomas BROWNING died 24 May 1783 aged 39. Susanna wife of above died 20 November 1819 aged 74. Left surviving 2 daughters Ann and Sarah. Mary daughter of above Thomas and Susanna buried near. Six children died in infancy: Susanna, Elizabeth, Ann, James, William and John.
373. John AUSTEN of parish of Eastbridge died 17 July 1814 aged 53. Left issue by Mary his wife seven children: Sarah, Mary, William, Lydia, Rachel, Edward and Margaret. John buried near aged 15 months. Mary his wife died 1 January 1848 aged 84.
374. William HOY died 22 October 1830 aged 73. Susanna his wife died 24 August 1833 aged 74. Issue 1 son and 2 daughters Henry, Elizabeth and Mary. Erected by Henry their son.

378. Alfred son of Stephen and Elizabeth WATTS died 13 May 1865 in 34th year. Mary Ann their daughter 22 February 1844 aged 6 years 6 months. He left surviving his father and mother 4 brothers and 4 sisters viz: Sarah Ann, James-Browning, George, Thomas Mount, William-Mitchell, Catharine-Jane, Susannah Louisa and Ellen-Maria.

383. Elizabeth wife of James SEAL died 4 November 1828 aged 64. The above James Seal died 5 February 1835 aged 69 leaving issue 2 sons and 2 daughters: Elizabeth, James, Charlotte and Thomas.

385. Henry ELGAR died 23 June 1810 aged 52. Ann his wife 31 July 1806 aged 44. Catherine daughter of above 28 July 1806 aged 11. Left issue surviving 5 sons and 2 daughters: Thomas, William, Henry, John, Benjamin, Elizabeth and Ann.

398. Stephen FAGG died 30January1804 aged 60. Had by Margaret his wife 14 children: John, Stephen, Ann, Michael, George, Martha, Sarah, Susanna and Richard surviving, Thomas, Margaret, Mary, Margaret and Charles lie buried here. Margaret his wife died 30 July 1838 aged 89.
399. Nicholas WRATTEN died 13 August 1729 aged 65. John his son January ye 18 1729 aged 2 years.

In the church
400. (Mural north side of nave) Sacred to the memory of Edward COLEMAN Esquire who was born in this Parish 28 June 1765 and died at the Royal Veterinary College, London 14 July 1839. In early life after studying under the celebrated John Hunter he entered the medical profession and in 1794 was elected Professor of the Royal Veterinary College, an institution which by his scientific researches and mental energies attained a degree of usefulness and celebrity that exceeded the sanguine expectations of its distinguished founders. Under his fostering auspices the progress of the Veterinary art was such as qualified its practitioners to hold commissions in the Army and in 1797 he had himself the honor to be appointed Veterinary Surgeon General to the British Cavalry. The duties of which responsible situation he faithfully discharged with credit to himself and advantage to his country. His physiological investigations and the services he rendered to science caused him to be elected a Fellow of the Royal Society and a member of other British and foreign scientific associations. This tablet is erected by his surviving children in whose fondest and most grateful remembrance his parental affection and undeviating kindness will forever be most dearly cherished. 401. (Mural) Edward COLEMAN of this parish who died 19 September 1811 aged 70. His integrity and unremitted attention as the Common Expenditor of Romney Marsh is universally admitted etc etc. He left issue by his first wife 3 sons and by his second wife who is still living one daughter.
402. This tablet is erected by the desire of Edward COLEMAN to his mother, Sarah West Coleman who after a long and painful illness died 11 December 1787 aged 49. She left issue 3 sons; Thomas, Richard and Edward.
403. (Mural) Sacred to the memory of Richard COLEMAN son of Richard and Mary Coleman of the parish of Dymchurch, snatched hastily away by the hand of Providence at the early age of 16 years, 24 November 1868. Also 3 children died infants.
404. (Mural in the tower) To Sarah, wife of Professor COLEMAN who died 2 March 1833 at St Pancras aged 63. Her remains are deposited in St James’s Chapel, Middlesex and in the words of her dear departed daughter Louisa, she was perfection.
405. (Tablet) To Louisa Cline SELBY wife of Thomas Selby Esquire of Town Malling and second daughter of Professor and Sarah COLEMAN died 3 July 1831 aged 33. As a daughter, sister, wife and mother she possessed all the virtues which can enrich and adorn human nature.
