Jacob Scott

I began my archaeological career at Rochester Cathedral; the topic of my BA dissertation on masons' marks and my MA dissertation on the Lapidarium with the University of Leicester, and now the focus of my PhD studies at Canterbury Christ Church University. I have worked at the cathedral for over 12 years, first as an Assistant Verger, then member of the Events Team, Exhibition Assistant and today I am the cathedral Heritage Officer. I hope to use my experiences in developing the cathedral interpretation and research programmes to enable heritage professionals and volunteers to make use of the vast array of new multimedia, resources and technologies in bringing to life the past in new and engaging ways.
