1. By Tower: George DOUBELL died 28 March 1823 aged 57 years. Left a widow and 5 daughters, Mary, Ann, Susannah, Matilda, Elizabeth and Harriott.

1A. Sacred to the memory of the children of George and Ann DOUBELL of this parish: viz those born 26 March 1812, 2 February 181_ , 27 April 1816, 4 January 1817, 25 November 1817, 31 July 1818, 6 August 1819, 30 May 1820 and 1 November 1821.

2. No inscription now ? a small child.

3. Rail illegible (probably a wooden rail)

4. Mary wife of John BROWNE died 17 July 1748 (under grass)

5. James JENNER died 18 December 1810 aged 45 years. Footstones: J.J. 1810, M.J. 18(?15).

6. William TURLEY son of William Turley of Hartfield and apprentice to William MEDHURST of Bolebrook who departed this life 15 March 1754 aged 15 years.

7. James CHANTLER died 27 May 1841 aged 35 years. Maria his widow died 12 October 1842 aged 35 years. The only child of these parents Maria died 6 August 1840 aged 12 years.

His 1st wife was Catherine daughter & heiress of John MOWBRAY Esq. of the County of Durham by whom he had 2 daughters, Catherine & Elizabeth. His 2nd wife was Margery daughter of Richard STONHEWER, Ll.D. Rector of Houghton le Spring in the said County by whom he had one only daughter who died an infant erected by his widow and daughters
